Exeter Farmers Market - 23rd of July. A wide variety of fresh local West Country foods are available to try and buy at the Exeter's Farmers Market. The market runs every Thursday throughout the year on the junction of South Street and Fore Street. 9am - 2pm.

Coastline Exhibition at Otterton Mill. 01/07/2009 - 31/08/2009. A major new exhibition inspired by the sea, cliffs and beautiful natural environment making up our unique coastline.local artists work will on display through out July. The Exhibition will be open 10am until 5pm every day.

Crediton Farmers Market - Saturday the 4th of July, 10am - 1pm. Quality local produce. Best South West Farmers Market 2005. With over 35 stalls this is the largest farmers market in Devon and has been voted the Best Farmers Market in Devon for two years running in the Devon Life Food & Drink Awards. The Big Sheep - Teddy Bear's Picnic for Toddlers. Wednesday the 8th of July 2009 - Bring along your favourite teddy and picnic rug and enjoy a perfect picnic with the BIG Sheep's resident BIG Bear. You can bring along your own picnic or enjoy a take-a-way picnic from our Shepherds Restaurant. If the weather is wet, don't despair because we will provide an indoor picnic with all the fun of the outdoors.

Guided Bird Watching Cruises - Stuart Line Cruises - There are a number of cruises from Exmouth Marina. A full timetable of July's cruises is available on there website. The vessel has an open top deck and an enclosed and heated lower deck. Toilets and disabled access is available as well as a refreshments bar selling hot and cold drinks including homemade soup and snacks. Advanced Booking is strongly recommended for these popular cruises. 

Crash Box Club's 36th Historic Vehicle Gathering at  Powderham Castle- Saturday 11 July 2009 Until Sunday 12 July 2009. 50th Anniversary Picnic at Powderham Castle - Sunday 12 July 2009. Bring a picnic and join in the celebrations in the beautiful setting of the Woodland Garden as we celebrate 50 years of welcoming visitors to Powderham Castle. The relaxed setting of the Woodland Garden is the perfect place to enjoy a family picnic with music by the Jazz Lounge swing band, family fun and games. Usual attractions open as normal. There will be free tractor/trailer rides all day to take you up to the Woodland Garden and back. Picnic event to take place from 1.00pm to 3.30pm in aid of The Helen Foundation. 

Honiton Farmers Market - 16th of July. A wide variety of local produce will be on offer,including: homemade cakes and pies, rare breed pork, ostrich produce, fresh meat, venison, fresh vegetables, cheese, jam and flowers.

Birds of Prey Displays at Powderham Castle . Sunday 19 July 2009 Until Monday 31 August 2009. See these amazing majestic birds soar over the Castle, learn about their habitat and meet Karen and the Devon Birds of Prey team who will gladly answer your questions and let you get up close and even handle the birds if you want. Daily display at 2.30pm on the North Lawn. Included in your Castle admission. 

The Greatest Eighties Party Ever! (Again) at Powderham Castle - Saturday 25 July 2009.Following the success of the first Greatest Eighties Party Ever, Powderham Castle are thrilled to be hosting it again. A fantastic picnic concert with a spectacular firework finale offering another incredible line-up of artists with over 50 top 20 hits between them: Marc Almond, ABC, Go West, Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw, The Three Degrees, Cutting Crew, Dr & The Medics and Altered Images. Status Quo. Sunday 26 July 2009 - This summer Status Quo are rocking Powderham Castle at another unmissable open air picnic concert. This British rock band have played over 6,000 live shows to over 25million people - literally Rockin' All Over the World! A fantastic opportunity to hear their classic tracks live in the stunning grounds of Powderham Castle. Concert Starts: 8.00pm.
