Crediton Farmers Market - Saturday the 4th of July, 10am - 1pm. Quality local produce. Best South West Farmers Market 2005. The Big Sheep - Teddy Bear's Picnic for Toddlers. Wednesday the 8th of July 2009 - Bring along your favourite teddy and picnic rug and enjoy a perfect picnic with the BIG Sheep's resident BIG Bear. You can bring along your own picnic or enjoy a take-a-way picnic from our Shepherds Restaurant. If the weather is wet, don't despair because we will provide an indoor picnic with all the fun of the outdoors.
Guided Bird Watching Cruises - Stuart Line Cruises - There are a number of cruises from Exmouth Marina. A full timetable of July's cruises is available on there website. The vessel has an open top deck and an enclosed and heated lower deck. Toilets and disabled access is available as well as a refreshments bar selling hot and cold drinks including homemade soup and snacks. 50th Anniversary Picnic at Powderham Castle - Sunday 12 July 2009. Bring a picnic and join in the celebrations in the beautiful setting of the Woodland Garden as we celebrate 50 years of welcoming visitors to Powderham Castle. The relaxed setting of the Woodland Garden is the perfect place to enjoy a family picnic with music by the Jazz Lounge swing band, family fun and games. Usual attractions open as normal. There will be free tractor/trailer rides all day to take you up to the Woodland Garden and back. Picnic event to take place from 1.00pm to 3.30pm in aid of The Helen Foundation.

Birds of Prey Displays at Powderham Castle . Sunday 19 July 2009 Until Monday 31 August 2009. See these amazing majestic birds soar over the Castle, learn about their habitat and meet Karen and the Devon Birds of Prey team who will gladly answer your questions and let you get up close and even handle the birds if you want.
