Overview
Wisteria cottage in Topsham is ideal for both families and couples alike. Its central location in the heart of bustling Topsham makes it a perfect holiday cottage to enjoy the shops, cafes and restaurants all of which are a short walk away. Visitors to this lovely, upmarket town often fall for its charms, its selection of stylish boutiques, antique shops and cafes as well as the very friendly locals.
This character holiday cottage has a lovely home from home feel to it. On the ground floor is the cosy sitting room with two arm chairs and a three seater sofa, there is also a new LCD TV, freeview box and dvd player. The sitting room leads to a bright, spacious fully equipped eat-in kitchen with all mod cons, including gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, dish washer and washing machine. French doors open out from the kitchen to the private rear courtyard. This sunny, walled garden offers total privacy and is a lovely space to enjoy some sunshine.
Upstairs the cottage has a master double bedroom, a twin bedroom and spacious family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Topsham is a hit with families, due to its central location, children's play area, outdoor swimming pool, river trips and sailing are all here, whilst the long sandy beach at Exmouth is only 10 mins drive away.
Couples will also appreciate Topsham's choice of excellent restaurants and pubs right on your door step - perfect to enjoy the Estuary views on a sunny evening. The ferry trip to Turf Locks in the summer is also a must. Nearby Darts Farm is a haven for ‘Foodies' stocked with a fabulous selection of local produce as well as a café, shops and the Fish Shed for fish and chips.
Note: Wisteria Cottage is adjacent to Vine cottage which sleeps 4 - 5 and may be useful for families or groups holidaying together.
Topsham railway station is also nearby with a short journey to the Cathedral City of Exeter so a car is not essential. Due to the central location of this holiday cottage, a private off-road parking space is reserved nearby. Please also be aware that a level of road noise may be experienced.
