Overview
The Tree House is a stunning Green Oak timber frame building that sleeps up to 4. This property is ideal for both families and couples alike, situated in the heart of the Teign Valley just 10 minutes from the coast. The Tree House offers guests an ideal opportunity to relax and unwind in an area of outstanding natural beauty and an ideal base for walking and cycling in the Dartmouth National Park.
On the ground floor the property has a spacious open-plan living area with under-floor heating, beautiful bespoke wooden kitchen and dining area with French doors out to the private garden. Also on the ground floor is the luxury family bathroom with W.C and a shower and bath. The enclosed lawned garden with patio and views of Teign Valley offers total privacy, in a stunning setting and is a lovely space to enjoy some sunshine, a BBQ is provided.
An oak staircase leads you to the first floor, where you will find the master bedroom with a 6ft double bed, sloping ceiling with large Velux windows. The second bedroom has a lovely wooden bed that pulls out to form two single beds. Luxurious duck down pillows and duck feather duvets are provided to add that extra special comfort. Green Oak trusses can be enjoyed in every room with exposed beams throughout the house.
The property has two televisions both with freeview and there is a selection of DVD’s available. There is also a washing machine, microwave oven, DVD & CD player, & cycle store. Please be aware that the property is semi-detached with the owners living next door, the exterior photographs shown here are of the entire property.
If you fancy exploring the local area, Canonteign Falls are nearby and have the highest waterfall in the UK. Go Ape has outward bound family activities at Haldon Forest. If rambling or mountain biking is your interest 3500 acres of woodland are just 10 minutes away from the property. The Tree House is an ideal holiday base to explore South Devon’s beautiful coastline.
The famous Nobody Inn Public House is within walking distance and you will find the very best selection of Whiskies, Cheeses and local Ales! And dinner here can be highly recommended.
