Overview

The Blue House in Budleigh Salterton is situated less than a minutes walk from the unspoilt beach at Budleigh Salterton. This delightful period property combines regency elegance with modern comforts - in an unbeatable location.

With traditional décor and delightful personal touches, The Blue House is a much loved family home and the perfect base in the heart of this popular seaside town. The property is accessed through a charming cottage-style front garden, full of decorative flowering plants and shrubs.

The front porch way opens to a tranquil and elegant sitting room, which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying some peace & quiet (please note: there is no TV in this main sitting area). There is also an additional smaller living area to the rear of the property with TV/DVD player, and two armchairs. There is also a cloakroom and W.C on the ground floor.

Downstairs from the sitting room, is a fantastic and spacious modern kitchen - with all mod cons, including electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and dryer. The adjoining dining area has French doors that open to a ‘secret' rear courtyard - a lovely private space to enjoy your morning coffee.

On the first floor, the master bedroom boasts stunning sea views and a luxury en-suite shower room. There is also a further small double bedroom at the rear of the property, and a single bedroom with views to the front, as well as a large family bathroom with bath and shower.

In addition to a pretty and secluded front garden, The Blue House also has additional private gardens that lead directly to the beach giving you the perfect spot to enjoy a drink in the evening - enjoy those uninterrupted sea views - and watch the world go by. The main garden is accessed immediately opposite the house across a quiet lane.

The house is located a very short walk from Budleigh Salterton high street and sea front, and also benefits from close proximity to the Otter valley and Woodbury common.

The local area has a selection of beaches, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops all within reach by car or foot.

Please note that due to the layout and stairs in this property it may not be suitable for young children.

There is parking for one car at the rear of the property.

Sorry no dogs allowed at this property.
