Crediton Farmers Market - Saturday the 3rd of October 2009, 10am - 1pm. Quality local produce. Voted Best South West Farmers Market 2005. With over 35 stalls this is the largest farmers market in Devon and has been voted the Best Farmers Market in Devon for two years running in the Devon Life Food & Drink Awards. Rockpool Ramble - Saturday the 3rd of October 2009. Guided tour of some of the best rockpools in Devon. No need to book just come along. For more information contact the Centre. The Big Pick at Killerton House - Sunday the 4th of October 2009. Come and help harvest the apples from the Killerton's orchard, the apples get used for their award winning cider. This a fun family day out suitable for children.

Exeter Farmers Market - A wide variety of fresh local West Country foods are available to try and buy at the Exeter's Farmers Market. The market runs every Thursday throughout the year on the junction of South Street and Fore Street. 9am - 2pm.
Guided Bird Watching Cruises - Stuart Line Cruises - There are a number of cruises from Exmouth Marina. A full timetable of Octobers' cruises is available on there website. The vessel has an open top deck and an enclosed and heated lower deck. Toilets and disabled access is available as well as a refreshments bar selling hot and cold drinks including homemade soup and snacks. Advanced Booking is strongly recommended for these popular cruises.

HallowScream at Crealy - Thursday 29th, Friday 30th & Saturday 31st of October 2009 at Crealy Adventure park just outside Exeter, 7pm until 1am. Last years was fantastic with live horror walk-through's, scare rides, indoor entertainments, Halloween cocktails and some of the South West best DJ's.
