Overview

Bridge Cottage in Budleigh Salterton is a beautiful thatched 16th century cottage situated 15 minutes walk from the unspoilt beach at Budleigh Salterton. This traditional thatched cottage combines old world charm with modern comforts.

The holiday cottage is situated in the centre of Knowle village and has a bright and light feel. The open-plan sitting and dining room has a pair comfy sofas, TV, DVD player, stereo and a gas log fire for cosy evenings in.

The sitting room leads to a fully equipped modern kitchen with all mod cons, including electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and washing machine. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. Access to the upstairs of the property is via a lovely spiral staircase so please be aware of this if you have limited mobility.

The private rear garden is decorated with flowering plants and shrubs. This secluded courtyard is ideal for enjoying some peace and quiet and has outdoor table and chairs so you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. 

Bridge cottage has two upstairs bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has twin beds. The bathroom has a corner bath with shower & WC.

The holiday cottage is located a short walk from Budleigh Salterton high street and sea front, and also benefits from close proximity to the Otter valley and Woodbury common. The local area has a selection of beaches, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops all within reach by car or foot.

This delightful 16th century thatched holiday cottage is a perfect family get away. A cot can be provided on request when booking.

The cottage has on street parking. Well be-haved dogs are welcome at this property and will love all the walks avaliable, the secure courtyard garden is great for drying off wet dogs. Please see ‘dog owners' for further information and suggestions in the local area.
